ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA (October 2015) – Broco® Rankin is pleased to announce its newest innovation to the Rankin Automation™ line – the new Angle Lock Torch Adjuster™. The new Angle Lock Torch Adjuster™, patent pending, is included with each of the new Broco Rankin Multi-Process Welding Kits for the Rankin Automation Two Axis Automated Welding Machine.
The new Angle Lock Torch Adjuster™ allows for easy adjustment of the welding torch angle. It mounts to the machine by means of an adapter secured to the outlet side of the wire feeder on the Rankin Automation Two Axis Automated Welding Machine. The adapter allows the adjuster to be turned as much as 180?; it also can be changed to vertical to 45? for fillet welding.
The Angle Lock Torch Adjuster™ has a quick lock/release lever that unlocks the swivel housing to allow for the easy adjustment of the torch angle. The torch angle can quickly be adjusted to specific job needs, without having to be removed and no unnecessary downtime. Torch parts include precision machined aluminum with inner brass housings.
In September, Broco® Rankin introduced the new Multi-Process Welding Kits, adding value and versatility to the Rankin Automation® Two Axis Automated Welding Machine. Now available are the Submerged Arc Welding Kit, Open Arc Welding Kit, Oxy-Fuel Straight Line Cutting Kit, and MIG Carbide Application Kit. The kits can be used for a variety of jobs, including welding, joining, cutting, hardfacing, and fabrication.
Together, the Rankin Automation Two Axis Automated Welding Machine and the Multi-Process Welding Kits take up only one footprint yet perform multiple functions.
