The COVID-19 situation continues to evolve rapidly, impacting global supply chains and the people depending on them. As an essential supplier to multiple countries worldwide, we are committed to safeguarding our colleagues and ensuring our customers’ operations continue to function as smoothly as possible during this difficult period.

Broco Rankin has been designated an essential critical supplier and will continue normal production and shipping operations. 

Pursuant to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security March 19, 2020 Memorandum on Identification of Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers During COVID-19 Response and the department’s identification of industries that are essential to continued critical infrastructure viability including medical and healthcare, telecommunications, information technology systems, defense, food and agriculture, transportation and logistics, energy, water and wastewater, law enforcement, and public works, Broco Rankin has been designated an essential critical supplier and will continue normal production and shipping operations, subject to current and future government requirements.

Administrative and sales functions will be operating although at reduced in office staffing levels with additional work from home support.

The company and its personnel are following all recommended protocols for maintaining a safe work environment for our employees and customers and suppliers, and there will be controlled and limited access to our facilities.

We look forward to continuing to support the important work that our customers and suppliers are doing in this challenging environment and our thoughts and prayers are with all adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Broco Rankin family of companies is based in Ontario, California. In addition to tactical and forced entry products, Broco, Inc. designs and manufactures underwater cutting and welding equipment, and industrial exothermic cutting and welding systems. Rankin Hardfacing, PMA Protective Metal Alloys, and Chamberlain Security are part of Rankin Industries which designs and manufactures buildup, hardfacing and specialty nickel alloy products. Most products are available through a global distributor network.
