RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (JULY 28, 2009) – Broco® Tactical has added two new forced entry tools, the Broco ENFORCER™ series one-man door rams, to its options for forced entry by tactical teams and first responders. ENFORCER™ and BABY ENFORCER™ rams are the first with LED lights for target illumination and accurate impact placement.
All ENFORCER™ series rams feature an ergonomic mass forward design that encourages a natural throwing motion. The fixed rear handle and rotating front handle maintain a neutral wrist position throughout the arc of the Breacher’s swing. Standard features include steel front hand guard, rubber grips, hardfaced impact surface and quickrelease sling.
ENFORCER’s unique reach-through rear handle yields a choice of one-hand carrying options leaving the Breacher’s weapon hand free. The Broco ENFORCER™ impacts at 3.5 tons, breaches most residential doors within one to two seconds, forces open doors with as many as seven different bolts, locking systems, and chains. It is 24” long and weighs 37 lbs.
The Broco BABY ENFORCER™ compact door ram is designed for operations with space and weight constraints. BABY ENFORCER™ stows and carries with ease, yet its high mass provides effective operations in tight, difficult breaching conditions. “The BABY ENFORCER™ is ideal for plainclothes work such as Narcotics, Gangs, and Vice,” says Tom Joos at Broco Tactical. “The BABY should be standard equipment in every patrol sergeant’s car.”
BABY ENFORCER™ offers all the features of the ENFORCER™ yet measures only 16 inches and weighs 24 lbs.
Broco®, Inc. specializes in backpacked exothermic cutting systems that are recognized worldwide as the choice of military and police force special operations units. The ENFORCER™ is Europe’s most popular door ram and Broco has licensed its manufacturing and distribution for the North American market from Sigma Security Devices, Ltd. Broco’s corporate headquarters is located in Rancho Cucamonga, California, and products are available through a global distributor network.
